We knew Rose would be a good cross with Salsa, but this filly is even more refined, upright and elegant that I expected. She is the smallest so far, and the most refined. She makes me look twice as she is running about the pasture, as I think Marimba is back! An elegant dished head with tiny, pointed ears, a hookey neck and a long, level hip - she as all of the qualities we expect from our Salsa foals. She is AMHA and AMHR futurity nominated and is parent qualified.

When I compare this colt to his full brother, Amigo, I am not sure I am not seeing a re-creation. Redi has the longest, most hooked neck of any of Salsa's foals so far, and his hip is amazing. He has that total Salsa "look", from end to end. He has been lab tested to be a silver bay - a rare and beautiful color for a rare and beautiful colt. Chestnut Colt with Star 4-8-2010

Missy's colt is chestnut with a big white star. He has an amazing, short sculpted head and a long neck set very high. He reminds me of Amigo when he was born. This boy's hip is long and already level and he has a nice, short back.  As he gets older he is getting darker and darker, with black around his eyes and in his neck. Chestnut Filly 5-23-2010

Bella has a huge star with a lightening bolt on her head, is very tall and very dark red. She has a very long, strong hip and her legs are dead on straight. She moves like a graceful little deer. Her grandfather, Jess Rocky Rabbit, has that same floating movement that we see in Bella. He head is short and very well shaped. She will be a contender in both driving and halter.

This delightful colt got his name the minute he arrived.  Robyn and Sheryl helped Princess with her first delivery, and when this colt popped out Robyn shouted "Mom, it's Missouri all over again!"  Missouri was Robyn's Pony Club and Eh Capa horse and her best friend when she was a teenager.  Missouri has since passed away, and this colt looks so much like him that there is no way he could have any other name.
