Burney was born in Grants Pass, Oregon, on March 23, 2005.  The first person to meet Burney was Lauren Peterson.  Lauren was watching the pregnant mares for us that day while we were at work.  When Burney was born Lauren discovered him and let us know.

Christmas of 2006 was a very special day for Burney and Lauren.  On that day Burney became Lauren's very first horse. He now belongs to her and they have great plans for the future.

Lauren and Burney will be participating in the shows
put on by the Northwest Miniature Horse Club in 2007.
Their first show will be the schooling show held in Boring,
Oregon on March 31st
 

Amber Owens will be helping Lauren with Burney this year.  This winter Burney will go to Amber to learn to drive.  So, watch out youth drivers out there!  You will have some pretty tough competition next year with Lauren and Burney !!
